Jay-Z has been on the lips of many since the birth of his and Beyonce‘s daughter, Blue Ivy, two weeks ago. Attention which reached fever-pitch upon the release of the emotionally-charged ‘Glory’.

However, as expected, the fiercely private couple have been out of the spotlight throughout – that is until last night.

Jigga, beaming ear to ear, was snapped arriving at the re-opening of his 40/40 club in New York. Fans outside the venue reportedly expressed their congratulations to the 42 year old mogul, who simply responded “thank you”. A statement Baby Blue will no doubt be making once she’s old enough to bask in record-breaking appearance on ‘Glory’.

It’s been a good week for ‘Roc Me Out‘ beauty Rihanna.

From scoring another week atop the US singles chart with ‘We Found Love’, to and enjoying the sights, seas and sands of Hawaii, the last seven days have been seemingly bliss for the singer.

Now, she has even more cause to celebrate.

She is to perform at the 2012 Grammys.

Hitting her hometown in promotion of her memoir ‘I Got This’, Chicagoan songbird Jennifer Hudson was seen making a pit stop at the city’s Barnes & Noble for a book signing Tuesday.  Greeting a line of adoring fans and weight loss hopefuls, the ‘Love You I Do’ diva was joined by soon-to-be husband David Otunga and their son David Otunga, Jr.

Rocking an interesting set of dotted tights and Alian Quilici Payson booties, the stop is just one of many she will be making on her tight schedule.  Followers of the jet setting songstress can next check her out tomorrow on The Rachel Ray Show.

2012 may have seen R&B veteran Brandy land a starring role on BET’s ‘The Game’, but when it comes to vocal displays, we all know, she. does. not. play!  As if there aren’t already a wealth of performances and recordings to reiterate such, the songbird took to Los Angeles’ ‘Sing-A-Rama 2012’ recently (an event she annually guests) to sing ‘His Eye Is On The Sparrow’.

‘Stay With Me’ singer Ne-Yo has certainly stayed low-key as of late months after swapping mixtape plans with the preparation of a full LP.  Despite generating moderate buzz for his Trey Songz-assisted single ‘The Way You Move’, the R&B crooner has remained fairly mute on the musical tip since the under-performance of 2010’s ‘Libra Scale’.

Albeit reportedly readying his return to radio later this year, Ne-Yo starts off his 2012 with his cinematic debut in the George Lucas-directed ‘Red Tails’.  The semi-biographical film, boasting an all-star cast featuring Terrence Howard and Cuba Gooding, Jr., sees the crooner take flight in new ways as the group have joined to depict the famous story of the Tuskeegee Airmen.

Already jetting up the promotional trail for ‘Tails’, last night saw the singer drop by Jimmy Kimmel Live to give fans a few sneak peeks of the film.  Also, chatting it up with BET, watch this clip and find out what Ne-Yo had to say about divas Beyonce, Celine Dion, and Mary J. Yes, on February 14th Nicki Minaj will release her long awaited second album, ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ ,and now- weeks ahead of its release- the artwork for its first official single surfaced today.

Named ‘Va Va Voom‘, the cut is expected to debut shortly,following the release of the videos for ‘Roman In Moscow‘ and ‘Stupid Hoe’.
