As Jacquees prepares the release of ‘Mood 2‘ – the conceptual follow-up to his 2016 breakthrough mixtape ‘Mood‘ – the 32-year-old is apparently in the mood to get you bouncing on the dancefloor New Orleans-style with his new single ‘Lick Back.’

Tapping hometown hero / Rap veteran Juvenile to assist, ‘Lick’ sees ‘Quees croon about a vengeful ex-lover who’s having difficulty coping with the dissolution of their relationship.

“Yeah, she know I’m from the streets (D-Rok) / She want her lick back / In her feelings, I don’t get that / You and me, it’s a mix-match / I can never be your man, I can admit that,” he sings over Hitmaka production.

Accompanying the Friday (June 12) arrival of the tune with an official music video filmed in the Big Easy, hop inside to get acquainted with the latest from Jacquees.
