Chris Brown has a serious problem.

What it is? The polarising nature of his legacy.

For, while some commend him for maintaining his position as one of the world’s biggest stars, many cite his declining pure sales and quality of his new material as grounds for their refusal to name him one of the greats.

Worrying, as he now finds himself forced to look on as Beyonce, Rihanna, Bruno Mars and Drake elevated to heights his critics believe he will never reach.

Now, the critical mass has launched a scathing attack on his art after he took to Twitter to reveal that he’d like to tour with the first three artists mentioned above.

Why?

How he’s doing it? With a new book named ‘Racism: From the Eyes of a Child’ in which he bares all on how his difficult childhood informed his view on black women and the direction he encouraged Beyonce to go in as she sought superstardom.

His latest promotional stop? ‘Good Morning Britain.’

‘Love & Hip-Hop’s Miami branch has proven to be one of the most popular instalments of the franchise.

Launched this year, the show has put a fresh spin on the format with its diverse cast and culturally relevant storylines.

One of the narratives that has engaged viewers most is the love triangle between rapper Bobby Lytes, Jeffrey, and Malik.

To illuminate the matter as well as his rising popularity, Lytes stopped by The Breakfast Club for a super candid interview.

Chopping it up with Charlamagne, DJ Envy, and Angela Yee, he spoke on being a gay MC, his love life, being celibate, countering stereotypes, and much more.

It’s no question Justin Timberlake will occupy the top spot on next week’s Billboard 200 with his next album, ‘Man of the Woods.’  What’s of concern to his faithful followers, however, is the report the set is on track to move his lowest first week numbers to date.

As we reported here, the set – released February 2 – was initially predicted to move 315-325,000 its first week.  However, as the projection was rendered before his show-stopping Super Bowl Halftime show, many assumed the figure would increase drastically after the highly rated showing.

That assumption, as Billboard is reporting, has proven itself false.  Details inside:

Katy Perry has always been quite outspoken on a range of topics – and it turns out that extends to the state of her career.

Well documented is the dismal dip that derailed her once-unstoppable train of success.  And, in doing away with the “pretend it never happened” approach most Pop stars opt for, Perry has revealed that she’s more than aware of her predicament following the commercial tanking of her ‘Witness’ album.

Here’s what she had to say when speaking on her current status in an interview with Glamour magazine:

Kylie Minogue is back and she’s dusting off her ‘Dancing’ shoes for her like-titled new single.

Lifted from her 13th studio album ‘Golden,’ the track sets the sonic tone for the LP – which was largely recorded in Nashville and boasts embedded Country influences.

Still, Pop is the name of Kylie’s game and she’ll be aiming to remind the masses of her status as one of the genre’s most iconic divas – after her brief tenure with Jay-Z‘s Roc Nation didn’t yield the desired results (see: 2014’s ‘Kiss Me Once’).

As she two-steps her way to the April 6th release of ‘Golden,’ check out Kylie in action below…
