Check out this new promotional shot for for Beyonce‘s eagerly anticipated ‘4’ LP. Preceded by singles ‘Run The World (Girls)’ and ‘Best Thing I Never Had’, the album is set for lift-off just three weeks from now (June 28th).

Randomness: Surely I can’t be the only one who’s a little alarmed by how soon the project’s release has come around. Yes, the tide is better now (see: Billboard performance, Idol, and great reception of ‘Best Thing I Never Had’). However it’s impossible to ignore the shaky start and ultimate poor charting of ‘Run The World (Girls)’.

Given B’s status, there is a certain sales expectation the masses will no doubt hold her to. Whether a June release, given the drama, will allow for that will be interesting to see.

As JoJo puts the finishing touches to her ‘Jumping Trains’ LP, a new promotional shot for the project has surfaced.

Delayed for the better part of four years (as the 20 year old battled label and legal drama), ‘Trains’is slated for release later this year.

Randomness: After so long out of the limelight, it’ll be interesting to see how the masses warm to the song bird’s latest batch of material. For, as talented as she is (and as great as her last release -2006’s ‘The High Road’ – was, the industry is renown for being ruthless to acts who have been out of the mix for an elongated period of time. What’s more, the project’s lead single ‘The Other Chick’ ultimately isn’t as instant as it need be.

Still, given how gifted as she is, the industry would be better off making room for her. She’s far too talented to go unnoticed.
