Looking every bit the superstar she’ set to be, Kelly Rowland dazzled as she arrived at the first day of filming for The X Factor UK in Birmingham moments ago.

The 30 year old is a hot commodity on all sides of the atlantic it seems; indeed she recently #1 on the US Billboard chart with ‘Motivation’, and is now judging on Britain’s biggest show (and was reportedly paid a whopping $1 Million to do so).

Lifted from her latest album ‘Loud‘, the video like the song itself sees the ‘Umbrella‘ singer return to her Caribbean roots and face the heavy hand of the law when she ends a man’s life by shooting him. As if her vocals weren’t enough to do the trick.

R&B vixen Ciara proves she’s just as brave off the stage as she is on it, as she strokes sleeping Cheetah in South Africa.

The ‘Love, Sex, Magic’ singer journeyed to the country over the weekend after performing at Zimbabwe’s ZarFest. Upon arrival, the 25 year old briskly hit the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve, where she soaked up her surroundings.

It’s been almost two years since the Sugababes released new material. Yet -in a bid to reclaim chart glory – the ladies are back. Well at least the remnants of them…

Indeed, after unceremoniously ousting founding member Keisha Buchanan in 2009, the group has been anchored by Amelle Berrabah, Heidi Range and Jade  Ewen. Hoping to make a bigger impact than their dismal selling ‘Sweet 7’ LP, the latest line-up serve up new single ‘Freedom’.

Set to premiere any day now, the ’empowering’ number surfaced in snippet form via Nokia a moments ago.

Soul crooner Maxwell reminisced on his 15 year career during a taping of VH1 Storytellers this week.

The ‘Pretty Wings’ singer assembled 150 fans for the intimate gig, which was shot at  New York’s Metropolis Studio.

Speaking during the show, which airs on June 17th, he said:

“’Storytellers’ has been around for 15 years, and it’s been 15 years since I put out my first album ‘Maxwell’s Urban Hang Suite’. You have this dream as a kid, and the next thing you know you’re at ‘VH1 Storytellers’ and the crowd is singing along to your songs. It’s a blessing.”

The 38 year old is currently prepping the sequel to 2009’s double Grammy winning ‘BLACKsummers’night’ for release later this year.
