Usher has long been heralded as one of music’s most celebrated artists. Ranked as the 2^nd most successful act of the last decade on the Billboard charts, he managed to give R&B music a voice amidst the expanding sea of Hip-Hop and Pop artists who began to dominate radio stations in recent years.

Nonetheless,  it seems that the tide of change has finally gotten too powerful for even Usher to resist as he prepares to reinvent his sound with the launch of a new genre he calls “Revolutionary Pop”. This decision has left many of his loyal fans baffled as they wonder if he is truly being innovative or simply joining the Pop music bandwagon in an effort to remain relevant.

The record serves as the 3rd official single from the rapper’s poorly received ‘No Mercy’ LP which was generally dismissed by critics and recently achieved gold status despite retail sales of only 367k copies.

Jennifer Lopez called Nick Cannon’s radio show on 92.3 FM to promote the season premiere of ‘American Idol’ yesterday. During their talks, Lopez used the opportunity to dispel the decade-old rumors about her reported feud with Cannon’s wife, Mariah Carey.

Lopez even went as far as to note that she is in fact “a big fan” of the diva. Listen to the interview below:

Jennifer Hudson is ready to release her long-awaited sophomore album. ‘I Remember Me’ follows her Grammy Award-winning debut LP, ‘Jennifer Hudson’, and will hit stores on March 22nd.

The 1st single from the project, ‘Where You At’, was written and produced by R. Kelly and is expected to premiere on radio on January 24th. Other contributors to the album include Ryan Tedder, Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Rich Harrison, Ne-Yo and Stargate.
