Stormzy is back!

The British Rap royal lives up to his billing with the epic video for his return single ‘Mel Made Me Do It.’

Unleashed without warning, the hard-hitting anthem has been paired with a seismic star-studded visual.

Directed by KLVDR, the 10-minute spectacle sees the chart-topper wax candid about his reign while retaining the relatability that quickly rendered him a household name.

Toasting to the culture and scene that both inspires and upholds him, Stormzy features a lengthy list of names in the video – including Jose Mourinho, Dave, Usain Bolt, and more. Actress Michaela Coel narrates a moving monologue, which was penned by Wretch 32.

‘Mel Made Me Do It’ serves as the first taste of the MC’s incoming new album (his first since 2019’s ‘Heavy Is The Head’).

Over the summer singer-turned-content creator O’Ryan dropped jaws when he dropped drawers and took the net by storm with a video of himself exercising in the buff (as we reported here).

And though he eventually apologized for the R-rated clip, his big brother, GRAMMY-nominated music star Omarion, is a lot less remorseful for the hoopla the “leaked” visual caused.

Genre bending and blending have always been the game for hit rapper Doja Cat.

Despite naming Hip-Hop as her claim to fame, the GRAMMY winner has experimented with a myriad sounds from R&B and Pop influence to Latin, World Music, and even those leaning on the Rock end of the musical spectrum.

The latter, as revealed by a set of confusing tweets recently, may just be the sonic direction Cat’s poised to climb for the follow-up to her blockbuster third studio album, ‘Planet Her.’

As male R&B singers of the millennium go, few can claim the consistent chart triumphs of EGOT winner John Legend.

Since first lifting his debut studio album, ‘Get Lifted,’ to the top 5 of the Billboard 200 in 2004, the singer-songwriter succeeded that win with a string of hits – watching the five traditional studio efforts that followed (‘Once Again,’ ‘Evolver,’ ‘Love in the Future,’ ‘Darkness & Light,’ and ‘Bigger Love’) enjoy big openings in the tally’s top 20.

And while more of the same was expected with his latest offering, the September 9-released ‘Legend,’ a refreshed print of the Billboard 200 reveals John’s charting trajectory has taken quite the detour.
