Some people frown on re-gifting, but – as evidenced by the repackaging of her holiday-inspired song, ‘Wrap Me Up’ – singer-songwriter Jhené Aiko isn’t one of them.

The original incarnation of ‘Wrap’ was lifted to Soundcloud in 2012, but its 2021 Lejkeys & The Fisticuffs-produced revamp elevates its sound thanks to the embellishment of strings and horns.

“Mistletoe hanging right over the bed / Girl you get whatever you wanna get / Diamonds and pearls no time along / Girl what’s up with you, you never want that / Trade you anything, let me unwrap you, start at your waist,” Aiko coos on the seductive Christmas track.
