New Song: Lil’ Kim – ‘Respirator’
After a year long spell in the slammer and having parted ways with longtime label Atlantic, Lil’ Kim has returned to the music scene with new single ‘Respirator’. I’m kinda on the fence about this one, the first release from her still untitled independent debut. For the most part I’m feeling it – the production is point etc-however her sliding in and out of the vocoder effect on the verses make for an awkward listening experience at times. Having really enjoyed her last LP, 2005’s ‘The Naked Truth’, I’m definitely keeping an open ear to see what she’ll be serving up with the next record.Hit or Miss?

Ooooh! lol. LMAO @ the song and her singing. Since I’m a Lil’Kim fan I am open to giving this further listening sessions, but so far this is just an average weird-sounding song that reminds me a T-pain (in which I don’t like musically.) Lil’Kim is going to have to come harder than this.

LIl Kim KNOWS she needs to STOP! that pic is what she has been wanting to look like all along. what do you think all the face knifing and skin bleaching was for? funny how this was sooooo not how she looked when she came out. she has serious self image issues. I thought she was a beautiful brown sister when she first stepped on the scene but i guess light, bright and damn near white is they way to go in her eyes! wake up black people!

Single..GARBAGE!!! Although Kim usually comes hard & different, there is nothing different about her using the same style that T-Pain has. And by the way, noone can honestly say that any remix or song that T-Pain is featured on, isnt hot. Lil Kim looks a hot mess! She doesnt look anything like she did when she first appeared on the scene. She was a cute brown-skinned girl. Now, she is built funny. She wants to be white & has damn near achieved the look. She should take a real look of what she looks like right about now…if she keeps the knifing up, she is going to need a “respirator”!
