Pics: Ashanti Promo Blitz
The Ashanti promotional blitz hit New York yesterday. As well as putting in an appearance on MTV’s TRL earlier in the day (click here to watch), the singer dropped by Virgin Megastores, Times Square to perform and sign copies of her brand new LP ‘The Declaration’.
The 27 year old also put in an appearance at Planet Hollywood, New York for a special hand-print ceremony:

With 8 songs on the itunes charts and #2 on the R&B charts, this album betta be numba 1 damnit. It’s a pheonominal album.

To the comment up about me, i respect ur opinion even though i dont agree with it. Ashanti’s body is bangin, especially in that first pic with those little white shorts on.
Her album was hot too. She really shocked me. After ‘Concrete Rose’ i decided to sleep on Ashanti, becuz i 2 thought her music career was done. But after listenin 2 her new album, she’s waking me up again. I don’t think ‘Body on me’ should b the next single, or ‘Good Good’. My personal favorites r ‘You’re Gonna Miss’, ‘Struggle’, ‘In These Streets’, ‘The Decleration’, & ‘The Things you do’ (which has to grow on me more). I think any of those singles cud have better potential than ‘Body on me’.
