R&B star Keri Hilson dropped by Jimmy Fallon Live last night to perform new single ‘Slow Dance’. Backed by a full band (which included The Roots), Ms. Keri did a great job with this performance. While I would have liked to see more in the way of a ‘performance’ (ala her rendition of the song on tour, with dancers, a serious routine etc), she really held the fort with this one. The band rocked, her vocals for the most part were great (though she seemed like she was in pain getting them out) and she’s showing real progression as a live performer. Good stuff.
What do you think of the performance?

YES, she FINALLY got rid of the goldilocks haircut and I am FEELING it.
That, and definitely is stepping up her game as a performer. She doesn't have a bad voice at all, but she just comes off as a bit inconsistent to me, like her voice controls her as opposed to her controlling her voice, if that makes any sense. Not the best, but a definite step in the right direction from Ms. Keri. I do kind of wish she'd move on from this CD though lol but I guess I can't hate on her for working hard for that certification.

Ms. Keri baby!!! She did that all of her songs on that album can be singles, hoping Alienated or Change Me is next. I hope Change Me gets redone tho for a single b/c Akon was literally screaming his verse, but overall a nice song.
