Chris Brown Shines At Comeback Show

Controversial star Chris Brown made his stage comeback, his first since the ‘incident’ 8 months ago, at Power 105.1’s Powerhouse 09 concert in New Jersey. Peep Chris’ performances of brand new single ‘I Can Transform Ya’, as well as ‘Take You Down’ below (apologies about the crappy video quality):

Say what you wish about him, but the boy sure knows how to put on a show! After watching these, as well as the positive reception Chris’ new material has been receiving, it appears he has been given another lifeline. It’ll be interesting to see the first week sales of his 3rd studio album ‘Graffiti’ (due December 15th) – which more or less will be arriving in the allocated release window it was given pre-ChRihanna-gate. Anyway…

What do you think of the performances?

Chris Brown is a joke and he really needs to p*** off the face of the earth.

His new video is a rip off of the Transformers film, can’t this wife beater come up with his own concepts.

His album better flop hard on its ass and blogs need to stop supporting him.

    Go here:

To be reminded of his antics.

He is going up against Alicia she always sells 700k in her first week.

Chris Brown has no hope of number 1.

He is a joke and his single is a FLOP.

SO OK!!! Sam is offically a CHRIS BROWN GROUPIE! I’m surprised he wasn’t outside the court room with posters and ‘I love you Chris” signs like the rest of the fools! and its funny how he calls beating up Rihanna an “incident’ like you really need to get off his balls!!!

I will never say Chris Brown is not talented because I would be lying but I feel like you need to have a little discretion when posting on Chris Brown and not belittling what he did like it wasn’t a big deal!

How about not mention the whole Rihanna situation and focus solely on his so called comeback and chris brown news because between the negative post about Rihanna and the obessesion with Chris Brown its very clear where you stand! WE GET IT! You like talented women beaters!

you hate Rihanna! We get it!
you are obessed with Chris Brown! We get it

lol at the haters, they so want Chris Brown to flop but he won’t, as for the album, I think he can beat Alicia Keys her song is flopping, she’s boring and she is due for a flop album, like most big stars have their flop moments, Mariah Carey, Usher to name a few… AK next
You might think I am talking s*** but wait and see, you never know.

Chris has his moment to prove his haters wrong, get over the feb s***, it’s so played out, back to music is what the fans want, So Chris bring it on

I think Chris has a good chance of proving a lot people wrong, his not going anywhere, believe that!

It’s only the beginning of the great comeback and at 20 he has his whole life and career in front of him, isn’t it better to get the troubles away earlier rather then later.

You live and learn from your mistakes and I wish Chris well, best of luck to young talent and Chris is very talented, haters can’t deny that.

Wow i bet most of the heaters on here are MEN!! the n**** chris is back! thats it, yall may think he trash for the whole “incident”, i lost alot of respect for him for what he did but respect that boys talent, if you dont then you’re not a fan of music, he wont go #1 cuz the audience he reaches will probably download it off lime wire, A.Keyz will most likely be in th top spot, but CB wiil be 2nd or 3rd spot.

Chris is a very attracted boy, he is talented, but he’s clearly working the bad boy angle since he pissed away that good boy, which is what I knew would happen.. Just like one writer said, he reminds me of Bobby Brown in the late 80s, early 90’s. And hes completely lipping these performances, in his time away he should have been practicing dancing and singing live.

PEOPLE CAN SAY WHAT THEY WANT TO SAY ABOUT HOW
CHRIS TREATED RIRI BUT THEY CANT TAKE AWAY FROM HIS GIFTED DANCE SKILLS
NOR CAN THEY DENY THE FACT THAT THE BOY HAS A WAY WITH GIRLS
HE IS A TERRIFIC PERFORMER AND A GREAT SINGER
HE IS ONE OF THOSE CATS WHO WILL ACTUALLY GIVE IT HIS ALL DURING A CONCERT NO MATTER WHO’S AROUND OR WHERE HE IS PERFORMING AT
EVEN WHEN HE LOSES HIS VOICE
SO TO ME THAT SHOW EFFORT AND HIM AND HIS DANCE TEAM ARE SO CREATIVE
ALWAYS BRINGING SOMETHING NEW AND DIFFERENT
THE TRUTH IS NOBODY WANTS TO BUY MAD MONEY JUST TO WATCH SOMEONE
SING AND DO NOTHING US TO LIGHTEN THE MOOD OF THIER ENTERTAINMENT
    PEOPLE NEED TO MOVE ON
THE BOY IS DOING HIS THING, LET HIM AND GOD DEAL WITH IT
ITS NOT LIKE WE WILL EVER KNOW THE WHOLE STORY
WAS HE WRONG FOR DOING THAT TO RIRI YES
WAS SHE ALL THAT INNONCENT NO
    SHE STILL DIDNT DESERVE IT
I SAY LET THEM MOVE ON AND FOCUS ON THEIR MUSIC
AND BUILING UP A MORE HEALTHIER AND SPIRITUAL LIFE
WITH GOD AND THOSE WHO REALLY KNOW THEM AND LOVE THEM

Chris Brown is a very good performer. I think his album will do well- i prefer ‘so cold’ to crawl and both to Usher’s ‘PApers’. Having said that, I hope that he truly has learned his lesson and is workin gon fixing himself.

Alicia’s first single is flopping that is why her album ispushed back.

  15. Gold J October 28, 2009

Usher has a better voice and is a better performer.

But hey, Chris can hit girls better!

  16. GeeMan October 28, 2009

Chris did his thing straight up no denying his talent even with his personal issues homie is still doing what”s important and that is giving the audience what they paid for a damn good show. Do ya thing Chris.

People are hating on him because he got off too easy, period. For what he did to Rihanna, to only get probation and community service – without even visiting a jail cell once – is infuriating to many. And that’s perfectly understandable, because let’s face it, if any of the men posting on this blog did that to a girl, you guys would more than likely be sharing a cell with Big Bubba. And I know that if any of the girls on this blog got beat up by a guy, it would devastate you all to know that the man who did that to you did zero jail time.

Those who are in support of Chris Brown believe he’s learned his lesson already and is paying the price justly and fairly by the amount of negativity he’s received (and STILL receiving, make no mistake about it), as well as his community service and probation. And even greater than all that combined, more than likely, his inability to reconnect with the woman he still loves (again, make no mistake about it – he hasn’t moved on yet.)

Now I myself am not a hater OR a fan of this boy, but I can see where both sides of the spectrum are coming from. It basically comes down to whether or not you’re still hanging on to his “woman beating ways”, or if you’ve moved on from that and are now acknowledging him for his music and talent.

I’m kinda on both sides because I don’t agree with his punishment and believe he should have done some time in jail, but I’ve also moved on from the situation and will go on to like a few of his songs, nothing less, nothing more.

People you should understand that both Chris Brown and Rihanna are so young and for that reason, a lot of mistakes will be made. Chris have said to Rihanna who is the most important of the situation, he’s sorry and she has forgiven him so the public should also. I feel that both he and Rhianna should take some kind of classes that will help them both to become better people and not turn to violience. With the both of them being so young they need guidence, caring and love to tell them the right things to do in a relationship. I feel that Chris soley took the blame for everything that’s happen because of his love for Rihanna and she herself is in such a dark place because she knows exactly what happen and she is so sadden that the judge is keeping them apart, because she knows Chris is not all by himslef at fault. With the both of them being so young people should be praying for them both and stop the hate on them.
