I have said this a million times. Chris Brown needs to FIRE HIS ENTIRE TEAM! They have handled this whole situation so poorly that it is shocking. Chris Brown didn’t need to give a statement like that. His team should have showed him that his actions speak louder than words. The first thing he needs to do is take a LOOOOOOOOOONG BREAK. At least a year or two. He should have let the situation cool before putting out music that is basically going to go to waste because nobody ain’t trying to hear it.
Instead his s***** ass team has got him putting out music that is obviously going to be banned from radio and television and still have this guy making appearances like nothing ever happened. To make matters worse he isn’t acting properly at all. He’s making dumb statements and walking out of interviews. This is only further killing his image. In the meantime the media has replaced his ass with Jason Derulo. And while some of you may not like Derulo, you have to also understand that Chris Brown had his shot and he blew it! The only way he’s ever going to have a shot like that again is if he goes on a hiatus and later returns with killer music. And even then it will be hard for him to come back. You guys have to understand this is the music business. When your’e in you’re in, and when you’re out, YOU ARE OUT!

Back from Vegas,saw Chris and he was great!!!!.He did a good job with the anthem,not great but good.He showed he has singing skills!He was in the ring with Floyd Mayweather after the fight and he was SO CUTE! I do agree with the person that said he needs a new team though.The first thing he should have done was to tell exactly what happened between he and his abuser on Larry King.It was a very bad move for him to try and protect her “image” to a bias media .

His PR team is the epitome of a disgrace. I honestly think that they are just some random people that he knew that needed jobs. There is no way in hell they are true professionals. Although I still love him, that put the nail in the coffin for some people. It’s really sad.

His PR team is absolutely atrocious, and that is evident by how they failed to save the remaining scraps of his image after “the incident’. Everything that happened went about ALL WRONG. Album review: Chris Brown, ‘Graffiti’

Two weeks ago, Rihanna delivered a brilliant album, “Rated R,” that doubled as a thinly veiled, emotionally turbulent reflection on her ill-fated romance with Chris Brown.
Now it’s Brown’s turn.
The 20-year-old singer’s third album, “Graffiti” (Jive), arrives only months after he pleaded guilty to assaulting Rihanna and was sentenced to five years probation, one year of counseling and six months of community service.
Like Rihanna, Brown aims to expand his music beyond hip-hop-flavored R&B by embracing Euro-disco, Goth-rock and new wave. And like Rihanna, he addresses their relationship. But whereas his ex-girlfriend used her album to express her hurt and anger, an outpouring of emotional truth rather than a he-said, she-said public-relations manifesto, Brown turns “Graffiti” into a curious mix of self-pity and accusation when he isn’t simply partying as if he’s already moved on.
The inconsistent and sometimes contradictory tone of Brown’s album suggests he jumped back too soon after committing a serious crime and bearing the brunt of a public-relations nightmare. He and his handlers should have known that every move he makes will be judged against his real-life actions, and anything he says – short of a contrite apology – will be viewed with extreme skepticism. He would’ve been better off to stay silent, or to avoid the topic altogether on an album that includes several top-notch pieces of innocuous dance music.
Once a coltish boy-next-door who made mildly suggestive R&B for teens and young adults, Brown is trying to refashion his image as a cutting-edge artist – or as cutting edge as a guy who has already sold millions of albums can get. He had a hand in writing 12 of the 13 tracks on “Graffiti,” and hunted for beats that value atmosphere as much as propulsion. Brown has referenced Michael Jackson and Prince as influences on his new work, but his sound also borrows from the cross-genre experiments of Kanye West, Saul Williams and Lil Wayne.
He poses on the cover like a futuristic rocker with a can of spray paint in one robotic hand and a guitar in the other, though the music isn’t nearly as radical as that image implies. Yet several tracks strike a more aggressive stance, a t*** artist growing into manhood, and no doubt will sound fantastic on a dancefloor with a booming speaker system. “I Can Transform Ya” stirs up an android racket with synthesizers and guitars. Brown adopts a clipped hip-hop cadence to match a cameo by Lil Wayne. The club bangers keep coming: “I.Y.A.” channels ‘80s synth-rock, “Pass Out” spins the disco mirror ball, “Wait” flexes hip-hop muscle, and “What I Do” has got nothing more on its mind than a block-busting beat and “the cars, the gals and the cribs.”
If only Brown had stuck to such carefree fodder, he might’ve at least skated by without further tarnishing his reputation. But he’s not about to stay silent. Three months ago, he appeared on CNN’s “Larry King Live” to explain his actions in the Rihanna affair, and he recently mounted a club tour to reconnect with his fans.
The public rehabilitation campaign might be easier to swallow if Brown weren’t trying to sell his latest album on the back of it. But he is, and now that album must be heard in the context of a celebrity asking something of his fans – but what, exactly? Forgiveness? Forgetfulness? Pity? A fresh start? Or perhaps just a deeper understanding of the complex human being that is Chris Brown?
If that’s the strategy behind “Graffiti,” let the backlash begin. A couple of songs flirt with a public apology. Funeral organ hovers over “Crawl” while the narrator longs for a second chance: “So where do we go from here/With all of this fear in your eyes?” That’s as close as we get to Brown empathizing with his ex-girfriend. On “So Cold,” he asks, “Can you forgive me?” Yet the song isn’t about his partner. The focus shifts to the narrator and his loneliness since the break-up.
The self-pity is even more egregious in the melancholy “Lucky Me” and the morose “Fallin’ Down.” In both songs, the world is collapsing on his shoulders, and a breakdown is imminent. He asks listeners to feel sorry for a celebrity who must bear their constant scrutiny. “Why is it so easy for you to blame/I’m only human, we’re all the same,” he sings, the victimizer turning himself into a victim.
The transformation is made complete on “Famous Girl,” in which Brown names names and suggests that Rihanna precipitated their break-up by cheating on him. “I don’t wear no halo/You were the first to play the game though,” he sings. “Should’ve known you’d break my heart.”
True or not, the song backfires. Instead of providing a plausible explanation for Brown’s reprehensible actions, the lyrics come off as a lowly attempt to justify the couple’s break-up. The song throws the album off balance, and makes every note feel exploitive and self-serving. In trying to restore his reputation, Brown ends up damaging it even more.

But if Brown’s goal with “Graffiti” was to begin the rehabilitation of his damaged image, you have to wonder how he and his handlers convinced themselves that including the song “Famous Girl,” in which Brown insists that his cheating on a pop-star girlfriend came after her own infidelity, was a good idea. “Should’ve known that you would break my heart,” he sings at one point, prompting a presumably unintended question: Has pop ever produced a less sympathetic victim?
Brown spends most of the rest of “Graffiti” in upbeat party mode, which given the clumsy audacity of “Famous Girl” was probably a wise decision. In “What I Do” he’s “throwing up [his] cash, acting like money ain’t a thing,” while opener “I Can Transform Ya” stresses spending power of an even more exclusive kind: “Whatcha need? You can have that,” Brown promises over Swizz Beatz’s robo-crunk groove, “My black card, they don’t decline that.”
A handful of lovingly arranged power ballads were evidently designed to illuminate the singer’s remorse over the Rihanna incident. Yet Brown doesn’t seem up to the task of contrition; in “Lucky Me,” for instance, he’s really sorry only about how hard it is to “pick [himself] up and perform for the crowd” after the year he’s had.

I come and visit this site everyday and have not once commented until today. I am not a CB Fan or a Rihanna Fan. I am a big believer in there are three sides to a story. Chris didnt tell his. Rihanna made the decision to tell hers ( Even tho She lied multiple times in the 20/20 interview). Ever since Feb.6, CB has not been given a second chance. Everyone has bashed him. What he did was wrong. Shoot R Kelly did wrong even if he was not charged. You know, your mother knows, even your grandparents know R Kelly did what he did to those girls. People never sit down and think why didny he say something about what happen that night. I think the reason as to way he did say anything about what happen that night because he felt bad about what he did and wanted to show her how sorry he was by not going into details. Plus, it amazes me how everyone is on team Rihanna. The same girl who said F Love and she wasnt in no rush to get into a relationship but no more than what like a month after everything happen, she was in another relationship. And Not just any ole relationship, but this guy is supposed to be a woman beater as well. Court papers filed by his ex has been on the internet and everything. I felt sorry for her at first but not so much now. I dont blame him for going off on the radio guy because if that was me then I would have went off too. There is no way your going to tell me that if he would have said to you that the reason he doesnt play your music because your music its a hit TO YOUR FACE. Please I would have went off too. I find it so sad that some of the people leaving comments about him feeling like a victim didn’t even read the last tweet posted on here. He is telling God to give him the strength to move out of his own way. He obviously realizes his own faults by tweeting that. I wish that people could learn to be patient and actually hope that he can do good and turn his life back around. Many of you are so stuck on what he did in the past that you don’t even want to pay attention to the good that he is doing for the future. You want for him to be a horrible person and you want him to suffer, but you don’t realize that he’s not a bad person and he is not going to suffer like you want him to. And another thing, I’m pretty sure his PR team has nothing to do with his tweets that he posts. They are probably the ones who tell him to delete some of his tweets though.
Everyone deserves a second chance; but everyones road to that chance is different. Chris came out with a CD the same year he beat the girl like everyone was gone forget. Plus, he came with some whack songs that weren’t getting radio play. You may say that they won’t play his stuff because of the drama and that may be true. But if you were gone come out the same exact year yo stuff should have been the hottest stuff around and I listened to the album he got some okay songs but nothing that really stands out…………..
My opinion is that he should have at least waited 2 years when all the smoke has cleared and came back after that. Coming out the same year made him look cocky like I know they gone play my stuff…………….

Second of all, Chris has talked about God throughout his entire career. On his first album, he has a song titled “Thank You” where he said that he gives the Lord all the praise for him having success early in his career.
And @Clarissa, I totally agree with you. It would be different if Chris was on his twitter saying, “Oh yeah, I beat Rihanna, so what?” or “I wish I could do it again” and crap like that. If I was better than chris brown I would not be on a stupid blog talking to god know who I’d be spending my cash to buy cool things.
What I need is gods approval and I’m not about to argue about Chris Brown! That kid is way better off then all of us put together and he’ll make way more money than all of us put together so why should I stress myself out arguing with individuals over a person who could give a crap if I was alive or dead.
My only opinion is he’s trying to change and he’s sorry for what he’s done so that’s good for him. If he makes music I like I will buy it if he doesn’t I won’t purchase it but I’m not going to base my purchase on anything else other than the material he puts out.
