Lady GaGa surprised her fans at her ‘Monster Ball’ tour with something special: a new song. The singer/songwriter performed a new track, entitled ‘Living On The Radio’, during her concert at the Xcel Energy Center in St Paul, Minnesota. Check out the fan footage below:
It’s obvious that GaGa has been putting a lot more emphasis on her lyrics and musical compositions with this new album than her previous works. Both of the songs that she debuted to her fans have been piano-driven records that allow her alto vocals the opportunity to be the focus rather than a barrage of beats. However, knowing GaGa, there is probably dance versions of these records on her new album. Poker Face.

This song along with You and I & Speechless all kinda sound like one big song and her vocals are pretty much the same on all of them. Not negating her talent or anything, but personally I don’t like these songs (except Speechless)…there kinda dry to me, maybe I need to hear the studio version.
Regardless tho, her vocals are tight and piano skills are undeniable…her talent is craaaazy! I’d like to see her play with her higher register a lot more tho..

she had telephone which was a WW #1 and Bad Romance which might have also been WW #1, but still a monster hit. Alejandro was the 3rd single, and still was top 10 (top 5?). This was after like a year and a half of pure Gaga on the radio, so it makes sense for that not to do as well (and it was also her weakest single, IMO, to date). Now that she takes a break (and according to RedOne, he produced two monster hits on the next album) from releasing hits, she’ll come back as strong as ever.

I just wanna say I don’t like how the song sounds. But I know its gonna be good on her studio album. And I do believe xtina has better slow ballads, I mean duh. But I love gaga far better I don’t care if ppl are mad that she swagger jacked ppl. Everyone does it, they don’t do it in a bad way tho.

This song needs something more than just a piano. It does sound like 3rd rate Elton John. But the studio version could sound completely different.
She’s pure genius, if some people are unable to see that well that’s their loss. She is by far one of the most creative minds in the music industry at the moment and songs like this one are proof of her varied skill as a song writer. I think people should stop comparing her to other artists because the moment you begin to see her for the individual artist she really is you will realize that she is by far better than much of the trash out there. Lady Gaga is definitely here to stay an those who think otherwise have to really open their eyes and accept it.
