nicki New Song: Nicki Minaj Check It Out (Ft. Will.i.am)

Here is a new track from Nicki Minaj and Will.i.am entitled ‘Check It Out’. The record will be featured on the Limelight Exclusive mixtape and is unlikely to make the final cut of Minaj’s upcoming ‘Pink Friday’ LP (in stores November 23rd). Give it a listen below:

As with any other track crafted by Will.i.am this record is laced with auto-tune and radio-friendly beats. There is no doubt that the duo have some chemistry but the production is a bit too busy and confusing. The again, what else can be expected from artists as animated as Minaj and Will.i.am?

    What a lot of people don’t get is that everyone doesn’t want to be extra serious all the time!!

    People just want to have fun. That is why the radio sounds like it does! Two or three decades ago, things were more serious because people celebrated being together (in relationships) not being single or “doin’ them”. Everyone wants to be an individual…so as much as a lot of people hate to admit, this WILL be a huge radio hit!
