Beyonce is not a strong ballader (I think its her tone that makes me feel that way). The only Ballads she sound phenomenal on are Listen, Resentment, That’s Why Your Beautiful and Dangerously in Love. She sounds good at whatever she sings, but singing ballads live is not her strong point. But to say that she is an average singer is wrong because she is above avaerage She needs to realize that she is a funk soul diva and should stick to singing those type of songs more. That’s where her voice really soars.
But I would actually love to hear Beyonce do a Ballad in her lower register, because her low notes are so chilling. I also want to hear her do a song in full head voice because her high notes are so damn operatic. They are angelic, but still powerful.
She puts no emotion in her ballads just dull and boring. GOOD DAY:)

I am more of a Beyonce fan. Rihanna has never really appealed to me, although I do like a few songs on her lastest record. I have always been a little puzzled by her success. Why is she the only female artist within the last decade to have so many number one singles? How was she able to surpass artist more established than her who are just as talented, if not more talented than she? Does the public really think her songs are that superior to other female artist? I really don’t understand. There’s all this hype about how pretty she is and what a great dresser she is and Her videos get so many hits on youtube. I was amazed at how people pay so much attention to her. Oh well, I guess she has the so called “it” factor.
Great performances, as usual for Beyonce; I would expect no less from her. By the way, I think Beyonce has raw talent that has been polished. She has the best of both worlds.
