I’m not a Huge Lady Gaga fan either but I appreciated this interview. I do like some of her songs but I think sometimes all of her additional artistry can become distracting.

cant believe I actually watched this, You know if she wasnt so damn overrated I would just ignore her the same way I do her (Equals) Justin Beiber & Miley Cirus but PPL act like shes really something SPECIAL when she isnt. I thought she looked cute in that interviw without all that Attention W**** mess but to aswer his 1st question: MARKETING EXPERT.

I needed this from her as I’ve been on the fence as of late but she gave a great account of herself and humanized a lot of the artifice. One might not be a fan of all of it but I appreciate her for who she seems to be and what she’s doing. Very intelligent act…, I couldn’t be more different to her in terms of my artistry and what I’m doing with my album but I feel a lot of kinship with her ideologies and this interview shows me she totally gets the medium she’s put herself in, which love them or like them cannot be said of poor souls such as Britney and Michael whose talent and wide eyed dreams of the industry is what brought them to their knees. Really loved what she said about drawing attention to what you want as a means of subverted attention from what u don’t want…, despite Gaga’s level of fame I truly believe she’s setting herself up in a way that will allow her to just walk away from the industry without being hounded once she’s done with it. Britney and Michael sold too much of their true selves to be able to claim anything back at the end of their time at the top. Make no mistake ‘Gaga’ is a character, however it’s been created by a real person of substance who knows exactly what they’re doing with it and probably what they’ll revert back to once they’re done with it.

I’m old enough to be from the generation of artists she has studied. I understand her ideas on marketing and fame. I agree with her conceptually. Musically she may not be the MOST gifted or the MOST talented; she’s no flash in the pan though and IS pleasant to listen to and her message IS valid.

By age 24 she has created a persona which seems very well thought out, realistic, spiritually sound and has integrity. I feel I can trust her as a human because she makes no bones about the fact that she set out to create celebrity, and has rational control over her presentation of that creation.

But she is only 24. I hope (sending Stephanie warm regards and positive energy now) that she does not discover that she has a dragon by the tail.

Is she stardoms greatest con artist to date? Only time will tell, but it seems to me that her sincerity is motivated by integrity, and I feel that after the long road she will hold up time. Not falling off the grid like all the other record label creations and the Milli Vanillis of the industry.

I think she is one of histories ‘ones to watch’ and even the people who don’t like can’t argue that she is currently having a strong effect on those who come to view her. After all, isn’t an artists true ambition to emote a response, whatever the medium they choose? She does!
