How does Ciara look desparate? Ciara works out like 5 times a week so her face and body for far more toned and structured than the average woman, just like Sheree from RHOA and Serena. There is a time and place for everything. And while it doesn’t surprise me that, over the past couple of months, Ciara has done more socialising than work and Kelly seems to have forgotten that her album was due out last November; it IS disappointing.
As I’ve said before, label support is a good thing to have, but you can still have a relatively successful era without it. Take Chris Brown, for example. He managed to make a single from a mixtape sell over one million downloads through sheer hard work. Ciara has done little to no promo for Basic Instinct and doesn’t appear to give two shits about the fact that she has yet to shift 100k copies.

Compare these pictures that you see of Ciara/Kelly out socialising and those you often see of the Trinity out working or emerging from studios/business meetings etc.

Like who doesn’t know that her career is a low point right now. How do you she hasn’t been in the studio working on new music with new producers. No one except Ciara, knows what she’s doing. If she wants to wait until she works out a new contract with Jive or signs with a new label to record a new album, then that’s her. And to the person who said Chris Brown had success without label support, ummm, you don’t need a label to release mixtapes. You just need to go to media outlets and have them release it, just as long as they get a portion of the revenues. I hate to say it, every Ciara song that’s been leaked over the past couple of months was pretty much a free mixtape. I have have so many leaked Ciara songs, over 20 to be exact, that there are like 2 albums of leaked material on my computer. Yeah her album has sold around 100K, so I’m pretty sure the Ciara stans who are always defending her are the one’s who bought the album.
