Okay with my first listen – I was just impressed with the arrangement and how much of a risk she’s taking. I am proud to be Beehive because she does so much to artistically. The safe and boring thing to do is follow trends and fit in with all that’s out on radio. These artist out today are following each other’s lead. it’s very few evolving or making listenable music to last through the generations. This is how you make classic music. Bey is bold and you can only respect it. How can you listen to that song and not hear growth? I know people talk about her fans thinking to highly of her and I feel like every single set of stans do this, but what I believe sets bey stans apart – is that we believe this wholeheartedly. It’s not about stanning for numbers (even though that comes up when it’s time to go to war), seriously Bey is just impressive! Talented! Creative! Artistic! …and not interested in settling for less than her best! She invest 10,000%. Call us crazy, but deep down no one out fits this description more than Beyonce.

It’s nice. Better than anything else on the radio right now. It does sound a little off/unfinished.
Okay so this is about repetitive as hell. Sure she sounds good, but it is not a hit. It lacks originality and it sounds like something that’s been released before. Rihanna has a new sound each album; Britney Spears has also had a new sound each album and her new one, “Femme Fatale” completely destroyed the charts (and her S&M Remix with Rihanna was sickkkk!); Adele has always been original and unlike the rest; Lady Gaga just got tired out (don’t like her so agreed on that part). As far as I’m concerned, Beyonce has a bit more to prove seeing as how Britney Spears and Rihanna are more successful artists. Don’t get me wrong, I’m no hater. I Am… Sasha Fierce was a DAMN good album, but this just isn’t Beyonce. I feel like she could do better.

I hate defending this girl, but I hate the ignorane of some people. When they say the song is not done, they mean the song have not been mastered. Bringing the production sound to a crystal clear listen. Every artist songs have to be mastered before its officially released as a single or placed on the album for better quality. Anyone can take one listen to this song and noticed it has not been mastered. But even when this song is not mastered, it goes hard. I guess we have a new song to dance to in dance class.

B’Day sounded like nothing else out at the time. Everything about B’day was different. It was hard, edgy, dancy, but each song still had a substancial ammount of meaning. I am… Sasha Fierce had some of the best ballads of the past century. That’s Why Your Beautiful, Disapear, Halo, If I Were a Boy, Satelittes, Save The Hero, Smash Into you, Scared of Lonely. And even some of the uptempo’s were great. Sweet Dreams, Radio, and Hello were great tracks.

I personally think this song is better than BTW, HIAM and Judas. But that isn’t saying much, and I don’t care about Beyoncé competing with GaGa, Britney or anyone else. I’m not into competition. I would like to clarify that this is indeed NOT the official version of the song that was played during the shoot. This is the first cut of the song that was recorded late February/Early March before all the mixing and Finalizing. I know for a fact that Bey’s team is not happy about this but now or days you cant stop something from leaking. I can’t believe people actually like this. This is when you start to know the difference between a fan, stan, & a highly deluded stan. If I don’t like something, imma keep it real whether I like the artist or not. Just like I really like J.Lo, but I do not like her 2nd or 3rd singles “I’m Into You” feat. Lil Wayne, or “Papi.” This song is garbage. I’m confused why Trent is praising this, but critiques everything else so heavily negative. I think he as well as everyone else just misses Beyonce, so they’re gonna take anything she throws at them. The arrangement is all over the place, the production is wack, it reminds me of something she already did “Diva”, it’s not epic or revolutionary, her vocals/rapping (whatever the hell is a mess). I’m unimpressed. I’m pretty sure this is gonna be a hit because of 4 things: it’s simple/basic & repetitive, she’s Beyonce, her team, her stans (mostly the deluded ones). You are drinking some insane kool-aid if you think this song “shuts down” recent output from other female pop stars. This is just a straight-up jack of Pon De Floor and Beyonce’s vocals actually add very little. If anything they take away from the original.
It’s exciting that she’s working with Diplo and Switch, but this is disappointing. But of course, as big as Pon De Floor is, most “mainstream” pop fans probably aren’t that aware of it, so they are going to be praising Beyonce as a musical innovator…

Beyonce has regressed. At 30 she should have more mature content that will stand the test of time and not just the moment. You have acts with less vocal ability putting out quality music. IE Rihanna. Say what you will about her voice and stage performance but you can’t deny that she puts out good music. Keri Hilson, Even Ciara has better music content. Beyonce has to realize that the same fans that she had at 21 have grown with her and are now 9 years older. We need better music. This is a horrible song, and like someone said listing all of her accomplishments (which really arent THAT special, 75million albums sold dont mean much of anything compared to other artist like Britney who just reached 100million, and we all know Bey wont get to that number for a long time), dosent change the fact that the song is horrible,and the whole world except a few dozen Bey stans are speaking the truth, her time has come and gone. It’s not a demo and a video wont save it. The songs done, the video looks tacky from the pictures, and she’s over.

Ok my feelings are really hurt I’ve been a Beystan all my life and this song is beneath everything she’s done. And for everybody calling it a a demo, demo’s just mean that the quality is bad, its not just the quality in this song, its the words, its a really dumb song. And I dont think I can be her fan anymore, I’ve supported her all my life, seen Destiny’s Child live 3 times, and Beyonce live 5 times. But its clear to me with this song here, she’s not out to grow up. It sounds immature and stupid, I need someone whos music is about something relevant and real, so Im going over to Gaga, at least she dont lie about what she writes and at least her music grows and changes. The rest of you stans can go and support B’day part 3 but Im to grown for this crap. Its a horrible song and it’ll probably be a horrible album (that I’ll be bootlegging offline definately)
