The hotly anticipated 8th series of the X Factor UK kicked off in explosive fashion last night. With the theme very much centred on “out with the old, in with the new”, all eyes and ears were on the judging panel’s three new additions – Kelly Rowland, N Dubz‘s Tulisa Costastavlos, and Take That‘s Gary Barlow.
Early figures suggest the new line-up has been a hit. For, last night’s show recorded the highest ratings yet for the launch of any X Factor (UK) series yet – 12.6 million tuning in (and ITV1 boasting a 51% audience share).

Kelly did a great job with judging. Hopefully the show will help her get good sales for her album over in the UK. The other judges were good too.
I think Kelly did an amazing job! It feels like shes been a part of the Xfactor from the start. Tulisa and Gary were good aswell.

Tbh i dont think its as intriguin as the premiere of last season but i think thats more to do with the hopefuls than judges. I always knew Kelly would be great in her judgin role, she has d personality of a sweet pie. Lookin forward to how the gig reflects on her commercial performance there. Im sure she and Bey will be performin this season.
Surprisingly i loved Tulisa, comin from a non-ndubz fan n it looks like she n Kelly genuinely get along. Not the biggest fan of Gary but he’s the perfect antidote to mess like Louis, hes always been d worst judge regardless of line-up
Anywho, i’l be followin sporadically. If theres anythin ive learnt from past seasons-dont u ever for a second take this show serious as a “singing competition reality tv show”

Sam, I’ll propose to you, an even simpler, more-accurate, and yet-readily-more accessible metric: 30-something-year-old Kelly Rowland Worldwide “Here I Am” CD sales.
According to T-H-E very latest figures, she’s DROPPED OFF said “United World Chart” (http://www.mediatraffic.de/albums.htm) 115K in Total World Wide Sales: 77K-first week, 22K-second week and 16K-third week; in a word..”PATHETIC..!!”
So let us closely monitor/surveil that very-same “World Wide Sales” chart, particularly during November – which is when “Here I Am” is to make its U.K. debut – and THEN see if it leaves any impact. If she cannot then DOMINATE (in every sense of the word) that chart, given that “bully pulpit” as a sitting judge/mentor of a “promising” “up-and-coming Talent Show”, then she’d have proved herself to the U.K./World discretionary-spending public/music lovers, what we here in the U.S. have NOW come to realize (and what Matthew Knowles had long calculated and used to build DC, and then propelled HIS daughter to super-stardom): Kelly Rowland is NOT “Headline/Leading-Lady/Star” material! She’s AT BEST a “Second-String Sideshow”..!!
If Kelly Rowland cannot dominate the U.K. charts, much as ADELE now dominates the U.S. charts, then she’s a complete BUST!
As a long-time, good-standing Team-Breezy member, I’ve now come to the conclusion that having her included on the “F.A.M.E” tour has only proved itself to be a “braking/corrosive” effect.
At this time, Chris needs A.L.L the momentum/speed, and “polish of a winner” that his brand can carry. “F.A.M.E” CD sales HAVE slipped; having Kelly Rowland on this tour does NOT bring any excitement, energy, nor interest to the tour, neither to “F.A.M.E” CD sales (at least, not in the U.S.)!

They all did a great job. Gary is a world class. Loui is great and funny as always. Kelly is amazing and always stands out. I’m still not buying Tulisa but she’s hot.

Honestly I don’t watch the show this season.. but I read the papers and article.. And last news are that right now Simon Cowell reconcilate with Cheryl, and he want her to return for the final. People don’t like Tulisa, but Kelly yes! Cheryl cole really busy.. she’s will make a movie with J.Lo and Cameroun Diaz for next year! Also, she is now working on her new album in studio at L.A with big names like: David Guetta, Usher, Rihanna, Far east movement.. Ahah she have more opportunities than with X Factor us who make a huge mistake.. they will regret it.. by the is the show a good success in the us without Cheryl? ahah I don’t think Nicole worth it, will see in september!
