Ms kelly is getting it in and i for one like the pace at which she is going – instead of releasing 8 singles at one time (exaggeration) she is doing it the old fashioned way – one single at a time – motivation was released in april and it was given 4 months to perform and is now platinum and spent 7 weeks at number 1 (still top 5 on the rnb charts and top 30 on the us charts..5 months later). Now she released her second single in august (4 months later) and is gearing up to perform the single which is currently number 70 on rnb charts. She is getting ready to shoot the video and also get the gears rolling on the international edition of Here I Am by shooting the video for her second single “Down For Whatever”. Oh yea she is also hosting one of the biggest shows in the UK oh and getting ready to tour in promotion of her album. To me she is doing just fine.
And for those who thinks that just because bey is pregnat Kelly should just release 3 singles and get shoved down our throats…negative. She isnt pressed or desperate for a hit. She is enjoying herself and making great music so just sit back and enjoy it and stop criticizing. SHE CANT HEAR U AND SHE DONT GIVE A FUKK IF U DONT LIKE HER SHYT OR HOW SHES PROMOTING IT. 133K- Units moved after four weeks. And today, after the fifth week (drum roll): 9,624! That’s a NAUSEATING, TOXIC, STAGNANT less-than 150K-Units moved!
..Now, this comes AFTER her announcing that $3.99 sale, which ran, over this past Holiday weekend. So, reducing her CD to “almost free” – thereby “giving it away” didn’t result with the desired effect of catapulting her up the charts to “diva heaven”.. NOPE!
..She continues to flop-about, gasping for air, bug-eyed, gills desperately failing, mercifully wanting/demanding to be scaled and filleted!
So now, with NO more “wardrobe malfunctions” to stage, nor “serendipitous (FAKE) bathroom karaoke sessions” to share, she NOW casts her “desperate gaze” upon Chris Brown’s tour, hoping to be THEN thrown a lifeline.
But even now, questions begin to emerge: “How/what is she to be paid, if she’s not selling CDs, and her fans/supporters aren’t “motivated” to buy concert/tour tickets? Won’t she be THEN “hitching a free ride” off the hard work of the other performers (Chris, Tyga, Big Sean, T-Pain)??

YEAHBEY, I like you. I always have. I appreciate the fact that while you obviously “stan” for Beyonce(you do know that’s not healthy though, right ? LOL), you still love and support Kelly. I’ve never seen you write anything hateful about her. You simply express your honest opinion and you have every right to do that. I certainly don’t have a problem with your comments. I will say however, you really shouldn’t let other commentators upset you so much. I understand the need to defend yourself and your fave, but after a while, it becomes redundant, and does nothing but add fuel to their fire. Just ignore the people who don’t get you.
I’m excited about what the future holds for Kelly. I love the fact that she’s genuine and happy. I’m a supporter, have been one since 1997 (Kelly was ALWAYS my favorite). I purchased ALL of her albums, even the re-released deluxe edition of Ms Kelly which was only released in European territories, so I had to order it as an import because I live in the U.S. (I payed a pretty penny for it too). So I don’t understand the comment about ‘Kelly supporters always talking trash but they don’t buy her albums or singles’. I DO 🙁
SPEAKS TRUTH, while I understand your frustration (believe me, I understand) and even agree with you to some extent, I think it’s time we stop letting the choices Kelly and her team make rattle us. We did our part. We bought the album. We enjoy the album. If Kelly and her team over at Universal want to drag her promotion, who are we to be upset with them for it. Just enjoy the music. There is such a thing as a “slow burn” album. Maybe that’s what Here I Am is shaping up to be. Any one can release a “flash in the pan”, but to make an album work for you over the course of a year or two; THAT’S a good marketing strategy. People forget, Kelly has yet to release Here I Am internationally. She only released it domestically and contrary to negative belief the album has not tapped out yet, therefore, this era is not dead and gone. It’s just beginning.
Patience is a virtue. We will eventually get the videos. We will eventually get the performances. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the MUSIC.
At this point, That’s all we can do.

What does that mean exactly “readying two new videos?” Didn’t the Motivation video premier in April? Am I suppose to be excited because she’s now “readying two new videos” as opposed to premiering two new videos? Am I suppose to stand on my head because she’s in the studio working on a new album, when she has a great album out now that’s performing horribly on the charts because she and her team don’t know how to promote an album? I am one of the biggest fans of kelly rowland. i have brought all her “solo” cds and i was at target on the release day of “HERE I AM” and got my deluxe copy.. i sat in my car fight to get the package open. i finally did ad placed it in my cd play. my car system is great, so when i turned up the volume i got chills as soon as “i’m dat chick” started playing. and the when “work It man’ came on i had to repeat it about 10 times. its just that good. i read all the cd booklet and saw the Beautiful pictures that kelly had taken. and she Looks “FLAWLESS”
