After spending much of 2011 touring the States with critically acclaimed play ‘What My Husband Doesn’t Know’, Michelle Williams closes out the year with a return to music.
The soulful singer is hard at work on a new studio album (due 2012); and, so as to whet appetite’s, she’s teamed up with German DJ’s Electric Giant Beatz, featuring as a guest vocalist on their new single ‘On The Run’.
As keen appreciators of the Destiny’s Child star’s vocal prowess, we invited Williams onto our acoustic show The Splash during her recent London visit.
Check out the song bird soar with a special stripped-back version of ”Run’ above…

LOL, I hear that too!
OMG …Michelle is really talented. Her voice is very unusal and she’s capable of doing so much with it. Everytime I see her singing live, I’m shocked by how great she is. I hope she gets her hands on the right material, because I’m seeing so much growth and confidence in her now. I think she’s coming into her own and that’s what I’d expect from a solo singer that came from the world’s biggest selling female group of all time. She’s my favorite after Bey now. Keep up the great work woman!

She needs a more catchy song to at least meet the mediocre success of Kelly.

What do u expect of someone who can even bring themself to call her by her name lol obv the pressedness has more to do with than just Beyonce’s superior voice. Something every technical vocal analyst knows as opposed to a plain hater
Cant watch the vid on my fone now bt i trust @Royalkev’s assessment

You can expext for Michele to be a little nervous su=inging on stage. she
hasn’t done it i for a long time. Give the girl a break. And to that fool
that said Kely is medicoredoesn’t what he is talking about. All of
girls thao werein the group were talent including the original
members of the group.
