Alleged publicist for the rapper, CJ, emailed media outlets the following:
“It is a known fact that for some time TMZ has been running stories on celebrities or well known persons of interest and providing the general public and media with publicly accessible information on random celebrities and their private matters with the internal revenue service,this does not come as a surprise, as it is Tax Season and is a sell-able media opportunity,it is for no other reason that Kimberly Jones(aka: LIL KIM) is now the target of such random media scrutiny.As it pertains to the story that was ran onTMZ(February 4,2012)regarding Lil Kim, we would like to inform fans,media, and the general public,that LIL KIM has hired professional attorneys to handle this matter(embellished by all standards via the media), and that she,along with her team of legal experts are working cooperatively and diligently with the I.R.S and federal authorities to amicably resolve the situation.

Meh. I’m more concerned with the atrocious grammar and punctuation. It seems Ms. Jones has been too busy partying and recording material no one ever hears to screen those “representing” her.

But don’t hate on the grape juice for posting a credible story. If the story was not true Kim’s PR person would not have responded so quickly. Notice it didn’t state that the reports were false just that Kim’s legal team is working on the tax problems. Funny how these artists come out talking they rich, they been in the game this long they paper is stacked but can’t even pay their taxes from years back until now. hope this not another Wesley Snipes situation!

Me thinks this is why Madame Kim is going hard at these female rappers trying to get her paper up, build interest in her career so labels want to make a deal and shows want to book her. Instead of supporting a woman beater and putting off her EP, and wearing those expensive clothing and rocking a 25k Birkin Bag, why don’t she pay her taxes? She thinks she’s above the law and time and time again she gets nailed. When will Kimberly Jones grow up? How are you going to come for other rappers when your ass owes a milli to the IRS? @D-ROCK I must admit that I have noticed TGJ targets Lil’ Kim, as they target Rihanna and I suspect the reason why is because Lil’ Kim’s fans will flock to the site in order to defend Kim and/or shade Nicki. It drives up hits and skyrockets the Alexa ratings for the site. I was a former blog owner so I know the ins and outs of the game when it comes to hits, ratings, google adsense and adwords, and advertising. So you can’t really blame the blog owners for generating income and business. Kim does the same thing by putting out diss records and interviews, and Nicki does the very same thing when she engages the back and forth.
It’s a numbers game and the fans are the commodity. At the end of the day, we are the numbers that round out the bottom line. It’s a feeding chain.
Yes, there are times that the shade against Kim is uncalled for and I can admit that. But it’s his blog and he can do whatever he wants.

How can someone’s money be long but owes 1 million dollars in taxes, dating back from 2002. Surely, if the person’s money was that long they would have paid it off as soon they became aware they owed money.
Fact of the matter is this, Kim isnt long sighted and was too busy focused on street cred when she should have been worrying about how she was going to expand her horizons.
