Released on June 22nd 2003, Beyonce‘s solo debut album ‘Dangerously In Love‘ now enjoys combined sales of 4,858,459 in the US and 11 million units sold worldwide as on January 1st 2013.
Spawning two US #1 singles with ‘Crazy In Love‘ & ‘Baby Boy’, this week saw its younger sister ‘I Am…Sasha Fierce’ hit the 3,047,761 in the US mark after its November 14th 2008 launch date and now enjoys global sales of 7 million copies sold.
Thus far, Beyonce holds five US #1 albums, 9 #1 singles and combined global sales of 50 million when her work in Destiny’s Child is added to her discography.
Formerly known as Lizzy Grant, Lana Del Rey hit Pop shores with her ‘Born To Die‘ debut on January 27th 2012.
Thus far, aided by ‘National Anthem‘, ‘Summertime Sadness‘ and ‘Blue Jeans‘, ‘Born’ and its ‘Paradise’ follow up now sees Lana boast worldwide sales of 3,232,000, with the former now selling 523,286 in the US after moving 6,396 units in the market in the last week.
With four Platinum singles, three US Top Three albums and eight Gold cuts to her name, Ciara’s first three albums make her one of the fastest selling Urban acts to debut in the last decade, with combined global sales of over 5 million units worldwide moved since 2004.
As it stands, her ‘Goodies’ led debut LP holds sales of 2.7 million units and has been certified Platinum three times by the Recording Industry Association Of America after it debuted at #1 the market, and scored Gold certifications in the UK, Ireland and Japan.
To date, the breathtaking vocalist holds twelve R&B Top Tens, with her 2010 single ‘Ride‘ peaking at #3 before scoring combined US sales of a quarter of a million sold.
‘Eh Eh, (Nothing Else I Can Say)’ marked the second single to come from Lady GaGa‘s 2008 debut album, ‘The Fame’, which sold 1, 316 units in the last week. As far as singles go, her 2008 jam ‘Pokerface’ is now 5x Platinum with over 5 million copies sold, while her Pop classic ‘Bad Romance’ holds tight with a 7x Platinum certification in Canada, dwarfing her moving ‘Marry The Night’ which has only been able to reach Gold status since November 2011. A fact, we hope influences the direction of forthcoming LP, ‘ARTPOP’.

As it stands, Minaj is the highest charting Female Rapper of all time, and is now the first Femcee (but eighth black female artist) to hold two or more #1 albums in US chart history.
10 solo US #1 singles, one US #1 album, 3 Quadruple Platinum Pop anthems. Since her ‘birth’ in 2005, Pop sensation Rihanna has now gone on to move a reported 25 million albums, including the 2x Platinum ‘Good Girl Gone Bad‘ and her first US #1 LP, ‘Unapologetic‘.
In the last week, she extended her Platinum reign with 2011′s ‘Talk That Talk’ when it moved 1,588 copies in the US, bringing its combined sales figure to 1,069, 256, pushing its global sales over its reported 4.5 million mark.
Meanwhile, in struggling to live up to this album’s chart reign, 2012′s ‘Unapologetic’ moved 18,676 US units bringing its combined sales in the market to 655,808, three months are its November 19th launch date.
