Check out this snap of Grammy winning Rapper Lil Kim meeting a member of her fan base during a recent dinner party in LA.
Believed to have been snapped at the ‘BOA’ restaurant, the pic sees ‘The Price Of Loyalty’ author cosy up to the fan on the same night she introduced some of her closest friends to her new artist, Tiffany Foxx.
However, despite her continued efforts to reassure them that her own new music is fast approaching, she has come under fire from members of ‘Team Kim’ who question the validity of her claims, going as far as to praise her commercially potent rival Nicki Minaj for her recent successes.

Taking to Twitter to voice their frustrations, the following shared:
While it’s become a little easy to criticize Kim for recent decisions, it’s a shame so many have forgotten or are simply unaware of the impact she made on Hip Hop and its mainstream transition in the early noughties.
Let’s hope with a new album on the way, she is ready to deliver the sound so many of her die hard supporters have been waiting for.
For, as the clip above proves, Kim is and has always been criminally underrated as an entertainer, but will be in for the shock of her life if she doesn’t live up to standards now set by the multi-Platinum Minaj.

Either way, Lil Kim is a Rap Icon and a LEGEND. I’m not necessarily a fan but I know of her presence in Hip-Hop culture to know that she was groundbreaking etc… in her day but now, I think, she should honestly just retire now and do so with grace.
She should work on having a family and if she still wants to be in the industry; Mentor/Give Advice to/Help/Promote/Market other up and coming female rappers under your own label etc…
Whether you agree or not, the Hip-Hop market has changed and Lil Kim is having hard time keeping up with that. You have to CONSTANTLY be releasing new material these days to keep up with this generations “15 mins. of Fame” attention span and she has not been so successful at that thus far. HER THEOLOGY on the Hip-Hop scene and what it should be be is not what the masses are conforming to so right now…

I know when folks ride for someone a long time they make a lot of excuses for them, but the truth is staring folks in the face. Kim is done, she’ll never be on it again, we’ll never see a major release album.

Lil’Kim is a legendary iconic rapper period. I don’t care who sold more than her, it is what it is. Her impact in hiphop & music in general is undeniable . Lil Kim is a beast MC & I’ve never heard another female who is better. Ive heard hot songs but nothing that is well rounded or better.Lil Kims albums are better than other female MC that has come out to date. Thats an impressive feat seeing that they are old. Lil Kim set a standard for females in the hiphop world that is utilzed & immatited to this day. Lil kim is the primary focus of alot of artist albums and without her they would be nothing. She looks amazing & set a certain standard of sexiness in the hiphop world that wrecked alot of careers. Shes a great artist
