Certified Gold in the United Kingdom for sales of over 100,000 units and birthing the Top 20 single ‘Drunk In Love‘, the project’s competition swallowing success comes as many of its release begin to impact various charts. One of these, being ‘Partition‘ which peaked at #46 on Billboard’s US R&B / Hip-Hop chart, and another being ‘Flawless‘- which rocketed to #2 on the R&B songs tally.

She’s expected to sell another 200k WW this wk, with 150k in the US. This album will flop harder overseas than Ciara’s existence on any chart. Drunk in Love is flopping on the digital charts, only 165k sold in 3 wks and XO is only at #75 on the Hot 100 after 3 wks. It’s funny how the BeyHive shaded Ciara and Miley when streams pushed Body Party, WCS and Wrecking Ball and that’s exactly how DIL is charting. The only reason she’s even sold this much is because consumers had no choice but to purchase the album in full. Songs like DIL, No Angel, Flawless, Blow, Rocket, Superpower and Partition wouls flop on the Mainstream charts. The only mainstream appealing songs on this album are XO (which is boring af) and possibly Pretty Hurts and Mine (which is beyond repetitive). I’m sorry but Beyoncé really failed with this album. She’s wants to be an icon/legend so bad but she’s afraid to fail. This album would’ve sold less than 4 had it been released the traditional way and she’s knows that, which is why she was afraid to release it. She’s a fake artist. Every artist goes thru an unsuccessful period. The individual singles are not available until the 20th. This have never been done before and its a strategy to get people to buy her album and increase her album sales to prevent another embarrassing plummet as her last album.
3. She has offered more music videos than actual songs and this just adds to her marketing ploy to get people to purchase her music. without the exclusive videos, who knows how many album sales she wouldn’t have sold.B

Wow seeing all these numbers I would say the true flop of the year (and so deserving) has been Milye Cyrus. After all the attention from the entire world and a promo campaign as big as Katy´s or Gaga´s she still sold less copies than all of them LOL (oh and I forgot radio support). True flop. You need to check those facts again. Teenage Dream has sold 6 million worldwide, 2.8 million US. How is that local? Roar was the longest reigning #1 of 2013 in Australia, dethroning Pink. Prism went platinum there in less then a week. Teenage Dream went 4x platinum there, more than any of Rihanna’s albums. They stan hard for her. And Prism’s worldwide sales are double the U.S ones. Im not a part of the beehive or navies. whateva they are called but I do agree that it is possible there could be some truth to what the poster is saying. Now, Beyoncé is one of the most talented entertainers of this generation, the girl can sing and her stage game is almost unmatched when compared to her female peers, with that said lets be real, she did give people a video for every song which made it more appealing, I mean who has ever done that. Am I knocking her…hell no but I do believe the idea of putting it on iTunes and not telling the press could have been motivated by fear or, you never know, her just being tired of doing things the same. Im leaning towards the former. I will say, this is her best album to date, so im not saying the sales aren’t due to her talent but there was definitely some marketing strategy done here to ensure these sales. iI don’t know about diamond…lauryn hill went diamond but she was able to reach ALL ages,…I don’t see the majority of 45 yrs and up buying
Ok I’m a fan love my girl and must say the album is hands down genius hence the sales but I must say why us everyone going on and on about her sales I have one question ohm many sales has any of the haters have???
