Despite kicking off in the April of last year, it’s become quite apparent that Beyonce‘s ‘The Mrs.Carter Show’ has no intentions of slowing down anytime soon.
For, despite drawing close to its final European leg on March 27th, figures generated by its recent showings in Dublin,Ireland have gone a long way to prove just how lucrative the tour has been for the star thus far…and why it’s record shattering dates are unlikely to be matched by even her more popular rivals!
Facts and figures below…
As Justin Timberlake sits atop Billboard’s ‘Hot Tours’ tally with $23.6 million pulled from his last 14 stage shows, Beyonce rocks steady at #2 with $5.5 million.
How she earned the amount?
Well, after agreeing to take the show to Dublin’s ’02’ for four nights in the month of March, (8th, 9th,11th and 12th), the star rocked the venue when these dates saw her sell 51,000 tickets and filling each and everyone of its 14,5000 seats.
That, much to the delight of the tour’s masterminds, is how she earned the hefty amount!
Coming after its October 2013 dates in New Zealand’s ‘Vector Arena’ sweep in $6,748,371, ‘Mrs.Carter’s success undoubtedly lies in Beyonce‘s ever-electric stage presence, and concepts and choreography developed by the star’s camp.
A camp, which includes the likes of Jaquel Knight, Chris Grant, Frank Gatson, Bianca Li and Rihanna‘s ‘Unfaithful’ love interest Anthony Burrell.
