Lady Gaga unleashes new single ‘Perfect Illusion’ in just two days.
Doing away with the usual pomp and pageantry, Mother Monster has instead embraced a more subdue roll-out. A fact evidenced by the no-frills announcement last month and scant info since.
Yet, with just hours to go before the song drops, the 30-year-old is cranking up the buzz machine.
Taking to social media moments ago, Gaga shared lyrics from the Mark Ronson production as well as stills from its video.

Well we all know what happens when we say “never”. We grow up, we mature, we evolve. So something she thought she would never do 5-10 years, may be what she’s all about now.

I’m here for it! she did the right thing by dropping the theatrics the last few years. She has the talent and potential to be a great artist but got a bit carried away during the artpop era and ended up being swallowed up with all the gimmicks.
I’m excited but leaving room for disappointment! She did this too me already! Had me amped and then dropped applause and born this way. I want a hit song! A good one!

Well I can’t speak for the Navy, but I know Fighters (Christina’s fans) are just irritated with her. Four years between albums, half-āssed performances, lack of appearances and or promotions, no tours. It’s just frustrating. The girl has the talent and a gift that millions would die for and yet she’s doing nothing with it. I mean to receive the honorific title of “The Voice of Her Generation” and be compared to Whitney and Mariah right out the gate with just Genie in a Bottle, speaks volumes… [sighs] It’s just baffling to me and I’m sure to many others…I’m on the verge of giving up on her.
