Moments ago, Keys shared a video teaser for the track, which will arrive tomorrow (January 9th). It’ll serve as the latest taste of upcoming album ‘A.L.I.C.I.A.’
Speaking in a recent interview, Keys says she’s super excited for the masses to hear the track – given its tonal acknowledgement of the trying times we’re living in.
‘Underdog’ will premiere on the heels of Urban/AC chart-topper ‘Show Me Love’ featuring Miguel and recent promo cut ‘Time Machine.’

I want to like it, but I have a feeling I won’t. I haven’t connected with her sound and image in 10 years. I bought Here and listened to it one time through… once was enough.
She is was trying to hard to be inspirational. Inspire the masses by being genuine, creatively thought provoking, while still delivering chart worthy hits. No one wants an underdog song that sounds like you plagiarized all the cheesy àss inspirational quotes on Pinterest
