The high-octane dance-jam has flown straight in at #1 on the Official UK Singles Chart, powered by colossal sales of 70,000 (SPS).
In doing so, ‘Rain’ becomes Gaga and Grande’s sixth chart-topper each.
Notably, it makes history for it has delivered the biggest ever opening week streaming numbers by an all-female collaboration in the UK, with 8.1 million.
‘Rain’ becomes Mother Monster’s first single to debut in pole position.
Additionally, it serves as the first all-female collaboration to hit #1 in six years, with Grande’s 2014 effort ‘Bang Bang Bang’ alongside Nicki Minaj and Jessie J being the last.
