New details surrounding the tragic death of Hayden Panettiere have emerged.
Full story below…
As reported, Panettiere died on August 16 at the age of 36. Her death remains under investigation.
Zach Hickerson, the brother of the late star’s boyfriend Brian Hickerson, has now shared his account of what unfolded at the South Carolina Airbnb where the ‘Heroes’ star was found unresponsive.
According to Zach, the actress’s boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, is said to have administered Narcan after she was found unconscious, according to his brother, who has now spoken about the devastating events of that morning.
Speaking with TMZ, Zach said he arrived after being unable to reach the couple and discovered Panettiere unconscious alongside his brother.
“I immediately called 911 and Brian gave her Narcan. We then jointly performed CPR while 911 was on speaker until Fire and EMS arrived.”
Narcan is used to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. However, an official cause of death for Panettiere has not been announced, and its use does not establish what caused her death.
Zach also urged against speculation while authorities continue their investigation.
“The truth will come out as the authorities complete and release additional details from the investigation.”
He added that he was “beyond heartbroken and devastated” by the loss, describing Panettiere as one of his closest friends of eight years.
As of writing, the investigation continues.
Our thoughts remain with Panettiere’s loved ones.
