Mathew Knowles isn’t the only person with a new baby to show off. Teen sensation Justin Bieber hit the stage on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ last evening and performed ‘Baby’ – the lead single from his debut album, ‘My World 2.0’, which hit stores yesterday. The song has thus far peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100. Check out the performance below:
It seems that more and more artists are tying to fill a void in the industry that was once occupied by Chris Brown. Jason Derulo, Jay Sean and now Bieber, are all fighting desperately to claim the top spot and be the #1 cross-over male act in the game. However, unlike the likes of Brown, Usher, Justin Timberlake and Michael Jackson, none of the new crop of artists have the right combination dance moves and vocal ability to achieve that feat. Still, with droves of boy-hungry Disney fans at his feet, Bieber may just be able to achieve similar fame to his predecessors. That is if he doesn’t get dropped from his label for insulting more established artists like Mariah Carey.

LOL why couldn’t Justin just stay in his lane? Mariah is the only true queen of the industry and just until recently (her Memoirs album), she was doing just great. And before the Bey stans try to come for me remember: Women lie, men lie, but numbers don’t so make you sure you do your research. 🙂
Anywho, stop hating on the kid. He’s only 16, and has quite some time to improve. Honestly I think he was thrown into the industry haphazardly and hasn’t had time to develop his musical craft. If you remember, he was signed from posting videos on youtube. That however does not take away from the fact that he IS indeed talented, and has the preteen audience on lock :)…some of his songs arn’t bad. Oh and Trent, I totally agree, Chris Brown’s reign expired quite some time ago. I honeslty think Bieber is the next IT kid.

He’s 16. Chris Brown was 16 when he first came out too, but he definitely wasn’t getting as much attention as Justin…i’m just saying. Oh, and in one of his videos he said covered a Chris Brown song (better than the original, i may add) and he said Chris Brown called him and congratulated him.
OBVIOUSLY, Chris himself sees what some of you keep trying to deny. The kid has talent and Chris’ career expired last year so why are you still on him.
