Anyway, Kelly’s turned 33, wow, a blessing. I remember when she was 15!
At some point you guys will have to have address the very obvious issue of Kelly’s lack of a promo game, poor single choices and lack of communication with her fanbase. It’s ridiculous how she’s let album after album go by the wayside. Here I Am churned out a good few videos so even though there wasn’t LOADSA promo there are visuals. Talk A Good Game was basically Kelly talking about her favourite s** positions and Beyonce’s friendship (Kisses & Laundry). The bias towards Beyonce’s friends is staggering!
A person named MLK left a comment on here recently saying that her label are channeling a Pop direction for her new album along the lines of Rose Coloured Glasses and Shake Those Haters Off. That’s great if it’s true but where did he get the info from? Kelly’s abandoned her UK/Australia market/fanbase for these past two albums and it’s a shame because we are the ones who kept her sales afloat, kept her relevant when America wasn’t buyingher stuff and she blows us off like that? She’s not a fitness instructor, a spokeswoman for watches or tv presenter, she is a singer first and her duty is to respect the fans that support her.
New album, it’ll probably flop and promo will be blamed on the label who are supporting a multi-millionaire nearly 20 years in the game who can fund her own campaign but has no direction and BAD management!

So this ho has time to party but is “too busy” to promote a single, album, or work on that re-release.
Why do we give this lazy flop the time of day?

I think the reason why Kelly’s new album did well is obviously because of lack of promotion, but one thing I know labels do is they don’t always drop artists but they cut funding for their album, which I have a feeling is what happened.
