As reported here, media mogul Oprah Winfrey continues her reignited foray into film with the production of a new Martin Luther King, Jr. based biopic.
Titled ‘Selma,’ the Ava DuVernay-directed film is set to chronicle MLK’s historic voting rights campaign that included the 1965 march to Selma, AL. Produced by Oprah and Brad Pitt‘s Plan B, the pic is already set to star Winfrey, rapper Common, Tom Wilkinson, Martin Sheen, and will now see the ‘Queen of Talk’ reunite with her ‘The Butler’ co-star Cuba Gooding, Jr.
Tapped to play famed civil rights attorney and activist Fred Gray, the Academy Award-winner is the latest to join the growing cast. As of time reporting, the Paramount Pictures’ film has no projected release date.
ATTENTION TOPS, VERS BOTTOMS & VERS: as you all may or may not know I’m H.IV positive (+) yet undetectable and very healthy. I am apart of a new age study to see if we, as a community, can profess in the study of this harsh epidemic. The study involves getting as many males as possible to penetrate my tight twinky b*** hole and see how many are actually exposed to the v**** and how many are safe. I party and play (meth) and use poppers so the amount of guys who enter my back door doesn’t really matter because I can take it, I just want to be able to contribute back to my society ESPECIALLY if it’s in the name of science! My idol Rihanna will be so proud of me. With that being said who’s first in line????

I’m sorry, but hasn’t the biopic about Martin Luther King Jr. been to death already? Why my must the African American community keep themselves in such dated roles? Is it such a challenge for this culture to think out side the box and do something that has nothing to do with slavery or civil rights? They are far from a one trick but yet they continue to do such with films such as this. Come now, think big.
Oh great, Should we start expecting an MLK biography film every year?

Or another slavery movie to remind us all every month?

Sigh….
Oprah makes me so proud! There’s so much about his story that white people never talk about the Good. The Bad & everything in between. If you look up everything you can on him you’ll no he was not just Superman he was also a human being that had lots of thought that were not always looked at greatly by everyone ( even other black people) but he never stop fighting & if anyone can get the hole truth about this amazing mans life on screen its Oprah herself. Lets face it she can do anything. Lol
