Hours after her sound engineer teased the release of a brand new album, Janet Jackson has revealed that if anybody’s to announce the launch of a new LP…it’ll be her.
Her message to her fans below…
Sharing the message above on Twitter minutes ago, her words will further tug at the heart strings of fans.
For,Jackson found herself at the centre of digital media blitz yesterday when her engineer’s announcement saw much of her fan base rejoice at the news, only to see it thrown into disrepute with this short but sweet response.

So I’m guessing that if the music that guy produced or mixed wasn’t single worthy, that he’s fired from the project. She might want to release this album out of the blue or just take her time. Where were all you fake Janet stans when her last 3 (!) albums flopped? Every time she is about to come back, you phonies get on boards and blogs and act like she’s about to shut it down and that the world ain’t ready…then the album comes out and crickets. Anyone who understands how the industry works would easily know Janet’s situation…How many copies did y’all expect Discipline to sell?For a 42yr old signed onto an unsupportive label,whose music hardly get played despite how many times her fans request to still debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 clearly shows fans have been supportive.

Fair enough, shes been secretly working on a lot of things over the last few years, the impact will die and expect to be rushed if people have expectations, this just says to me she’s not playing and when she returns the whole f****** world will know about it!
I feel so sorry for you Janet fans. You’re just like those MC fans who can’t reconcile that her time as a pop star is now over. It would be different if you just wanted the music to enjoy for yourselves but what you really crave is for her to reclaim past glory and chart success so that you can boast about it and I’m telling you that’s not happening again. She can come out with as many albums as she wants, but going forward none of them will be even a quarter as successful as her past hit albums.
