The charge for Kendrick Lamar‘s sophomore album is in full motion.
Moments after announcing ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ as the title of the eagerly awaited LP, Rolling Stone unwrapped their latest cover featuring the Hip-Hop titan.
The promo spot serves as quite the coup for the star, who describes the record as “honest, fearful and unapologetic.”
Look out for ‘Butterfly’ when it flies into stores on March 23rd via Aftermath/Interscope.
Pending then, peep another snap from the shoot below…

Yes Lamar!!!!
Kendrick confuses me. I respect his talent and enjoy some of his music. However, I am not enjoying some of the recent comments made about black people, the lyrics in the song “Blackberry” and him on a Rolling Stone cover getting his hair twisted by some WHITE WOMAN! Like really. and why are you everywhere twisting your damn hair?
So west coast. #GinNJuice
That’s cute
“Kendrick Lamar gets hair done” twists by a White Woman???!!! Or let me not jump to conclusions maybe she just light skinned. Either way didn’t Kendrick say Blacker The Berry? Let the Blacker Berry get a cover Man! SMH #rollingstonesucks
