Following a dramatic fall from grace, Mathew Knowles has largely shunned the spotlight.
Indeed, the once formidable manager of Destiny’s Child and Beyonce had largely retired from the public eye after severing ties with his superstar offspring in 2011; the same period in which wife Tina Knowles filed for divorce and details of his extra-marital affairs (which produced two children) became mass media fodder. His Music World empire also closed up shop.
Now, the Knowles patriarch is attempting to rise like a phoenix by way of a new bootcamp which he’s christened ‘The Entertainment Industry: How Do I Get In?’
To plug the class (tickets for which are $1500 each), Mathew sat down for an interview on ‘The Breakfast Club.’
Naturally, hosts DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne did not hold back. As such, discussed were his current relationship with Destiny’s Child, the group’s long-awaited reunion, Beyonce, and a whole lot more.

Well everyone knows that its no secret. But explain why before he said she was EXACTLY the same age as pink. He quoted “Beyonce was around 11 or 12 when she was on Star Search” She was on Star Search in 1993. Beyonce was born 1981. Showing the timeline to be exact with what he said. She would have been 11 or 12 in 1993 depending in what month they were in the show.

I hope the same. But they can’t keep him out no matter what. He created the group and has partial ownership. As long as they use the name Destinys Child he will always get a cut of the profit.
They do not have to use the groups name they can go by DC3 or their own names.

Destiny’s Child could definitely pull a Danity Kane and go by DC3. It doesn’t matter if they had the same name as before anyway because people remember them and they are still relevant.
To use a different name they would have to come up with another record deal and thy won’t find a good one because I’m sure they are gonna trap the girls into doing like 5 albums. And going independent is nice but when your already used to big deals

Matthew can’t teach families anything because he only has one very famous child from his family. Vs Joe Jackson whom had several famous children and that is the Jackson 5 (The Jacksons name change in the mid 70’s) Michael, and Janet basically everything Matthew learned about how to make your child famous he learned from Joe Jackson.

Chile watching this interview shows muah that the Knowles family r exactly like each other… The Breakfast Club has muah hyped af wen I saw this was going down, but Matthew didn’t deliver. Beyoncè fans live 2 make her performances seem God like, but Beyoncè never delivers the hype… It’s the same wig whips and multiple prerecorded tracks playing while The Mamas carry the show. Knowles family = a bunch of hype, with no deliverance.

What i got from this interview is that Mathew SCHOOLED all the naysayers. He is extremely media savvy and he knows how to keep in control of the interview. He shut down all the rumors that surrounded him..well most of them. I low key dont think he is as broke as everyone claims he is..He seems like a smart business man who knows how to play the game to his advantage. I dont think he had to steal Beyonce’s money either. He is too clever of a businessman.
