Taking to Twitter, the 27-year-old revealed its official cover (above), its release date (November 10th), and the fact that its lead single lands tomorrow night (August 24th).
It goes without saying that Ms. Swift is one of music’s last mega-sellers. And with a heavy helping of drama having transpired since her last release (see: Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, and Katy Perry), eyes and ears will be peeled to see and hear what she’s got to say this time round.

Guess the thing with Xtina is that she wants to sell like it’s 2002 and wants to be on the top. She know that this won’t happen, so she has no interest in putting out new music. This is just my opinion and I would love a new album by her, especially if she would go back the stripped route and would mix some rnb in it. But I don’t think we will see an album anytime soon.

What are you talking about? If Taylor releases her song on Friday, that means that Despacito will most likely go one more week at #1 bringing it to a total of 16 weeks….which ties Mariah’s record. The following week, the one in which would be Taylor’s first full week on sale and is most likely going to be a #1 straight shot would then knock Despacito out of the top slot hence ending its reign at 16 weeks, same as Mariah/Boyz II Men.

Nope, me makes two. I’m interested to see if the hype will fulfil itself this time and as her core audience of 15 – 25 year olds and women from fashion magazines or are having mid life crisis are growing up (hopfully) this may not be what everyone expects
I wonder if Taylor is going for a more mature sound this time around. So far, she’s successfully proven herself to be an icon (charting wise)! She’s put in over 10 years! Her career has been very consistent (4 #1 albums and singles)! It’ll be interesting to see if she takes it for Artists of the Decade. It obviously going to be a showdown between her and Adele. I’ve said it before, I do think Taylor will go the distance and last longer than Adele! I’m not speaking as a fan, I just think she have more of what it takes to remain relevant longer! Katy, Gaga, Miley and even Kesha all scored #1 albums with their last albums, but interest in them seems to be waning. I doubt this will happen anytime soon with Taylor!
Nah. Adele is like this generation’s Celine Dion, Whitney Houston and Barbara Streisand. Having the adult contemporary audience on lock out the gate and not trying to sound young to be relevant is the key to have decades of longevity as a premium act.

I agree (in a sense), but Adele’s a one trick pony! Sweet lady, but she’s a bit of a bore! The success of ’21’ was so phenomenal, but ’25’ felt like a failed rehash! After ‘Hello’, ’25’ became such a non event! I’m not delusional, I know the album went diamond, but somehow Adele lost so much steam after that lead single. That’s rather odd, Adele was only in her 3rd era (which usually guarantees most mega stars to be in a position to have the world eating out of their hands) and it should have been more memorable!

Not a surprise after she just sued someone to gain promotion and to prevent her “reputation” from getting ruined. She gets too much credit as an artist for writing her songs, but they’re never unique. She’s so easy to read. She lives off of ruining the “reputation” of others and by playing a victim. I hope that one day, people will see her for what she really is and stop supporting her and her subpar music.

Who knows… maybe it´s time for her to suddenly and unexpectedly flop? People and media don´t like certain changes of direction and certain topics coming from certain people. Even the biggest of them end flopping for one reason or the other.
Overall I find it so shocking that she has become such a big seller in the USA with such mediocre performing and vocal skills… (not to mention I don´t find her writing or songs as good as some critics or type of people say.
