A star-studded press conference for this Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards took place today at the Paramount Studios in Hollywood, California. There it was announced that:* Christina Aguilera will perform her new single ‘Keeps Getting Better’, from her forthcoming best-of collection of the same title (due November 10th in the UK and a day later in the US). Speaking on what to expect from her showing, Aguilera said: “You’re going to get a first look and a first listen at my new image and my new sound,” she said. “The last album, the style and sound was about vintage glam — this one is all about the future.”
* T.I. confirmed that he will, indeed, be performing new single ‘Live Your Life’ with Rihanna at the show.
* Kanye West will be closing the show.

GEEKED about Christina, i wanna see REAL talent again, for the past year i’ve been stuck with these so so girls like rhianna,fergie,etc. im glad shes coming with a new fresh sound.
People need to realize there will def be at least 2 more urban type artists.. lol. or maybe this year there will be more rockish performances.. but i think there will def be more ppl than just them. but i’m very very excited for xtina!!
