Tracee Ellis Ross trades the small screen for the big screen in ‘The High Note.’
The Universal Pictures flick sees the actress star as Grace Davies – a singer with a tall talent but taller ego.
Her overworked assistant, played by Dakota Johnson, is tasked with tending to her beck and call, but secretly has dreams of being a world-renown music producer.
Their worlds collide when one’s dream and the other’s reality calls a major decision to be made. One that could change their paths in more ways than one.
Peep the first look trailer for the movie, which also stars Ice Cube, below…
‘The High Note’ hits theaters in the UK on May 7th and a day later (May 8th) in the US.
So Tracee is to channel her mom in this flick. Got it.
Anticipation runs supreme!!!!
