Pop superstar Britney Spears‘ 7th studio album ‘Femme Fatale’ arrived stores worldwide today.
The eagerly anticipated set has both industry insiders and fans alike abuzz. For, as well as being the singer’s first original collection of tracks in 3 years, the release is one of the biggest on Sony Music’s calendar. Put simply, there is expectedly a lot of pressure on the album to deliver both musically and saleswise.
Early indications suggest on the musical front, Spears is onto a winner. After all, the project’s lead single ‘Hold It Against Me’ hit #1 on charts around the world including Billboard’s Hot 100, where follow-up single ‘Till The World Ends’ also occupies a top ten position.
However, with so-so reviews for ‘Fatale’, and even more questionable performances to support it, many have been left wondering just how much tank is left in Machine Britney. Particularly as more pervasive machines continue to populate the Pop landscape (see: Lady GaGa, Rihanna, Beyonce).

No, I won’t buy it, because the only song I like is ‘Trip To Your Heart’. The whole album sounds like one single generic dance song to me.
We may be rooting for her success but is she? After watching her performance on GMA I feel Britney has lost her Mojo and at this point is really getting over on fans that already love her and she can do no wrong in their eyes. We really need to be honest with Britney and her fans…….Just Stop It.

So So reviews where? All of the one’s I’ve read or heard have been good so far. Anyways, I had the album for a bit and it’s pretty good. I downloaded the Deluxe iTunes one because it was pretty much a smash. Cohesive, Bass-Heavy, lyrically solid and sonically pleasing. Great piece of Pop.

I will buy the album due to the production…..it is a good album in and off itself. Not as far as the tour that is a no with a capital N. It is a great workout album and high energy…..will help me workout.
To see her in person would make me mad. There seems to be no love and joy. It seems like she wants to be a mother (don’t blame her) and take a back seat. I can understand that a certain point you are done. She can be more behind the scenes and make clones of herself that she can pimp for years to come.
The Britney of yers ago is gone….time to stop dreaming anf just deal.

I wish Britney put more energy into her performances. There’s no reason for her to lipsynch, even Rihanna sings live and she sounds terrible. As far as her album goes, it’s excellent. The songs are all great and they definitely don’t all sound alike-only stupid people think that. It’s a must buy.
