Taking to press, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that his single, ‘Earfquake,’ has now been certified 4x Platinum for the sales equivalent of 4,000,000 units in the United States.
With the updated certification, the song has now been granted the distinction of becoming his highest-certified single to date. Previously, the record belongs to his song ‘See You Again’ with Kali Uchis, which has been certified 3x Platinum.
‘Earfquake’ served as a single from Tyler’s acclaimed ‘Igor’ album and peaked at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. As of reporting, it remains his biggest charting hit as a lead artist on the chart.
Needless to say, a huge congratulations is in order.
