Janet Jackson‘s ‘Number Ones: Up Close & Personal Tour’ pulled into London last night. Fittingly held at the iconic Royal Albert Hall, That Grape Juice was in the house at the sold-out event – and so were our good friends, Pop divas JLS.

Legend indeed. Sitting third row, we most certainly got up, close, and personal with Ms. Jackson and what an experience it was. For, she still has ‘it’ in abundance, which served as a potent reminder to self for why we put such a high premium on the acts of today. If Janet is still killing it on stage at 45, there really isn’t any excuse.

I was there last night too … Im a huge fan of Janet and have been since 1993 (LMAO) and she did not disappoint last night. She brought all the hits and all the dance moves and the crowd LOVED her. Every single person was on their feet dancing and singing. I didn’t want it to end. And yes, she was singing live. BLOWN AWAY.

Janet has always been able to put on a great show. It really irritates me when artist like Britney, Madonna, Justin Timberlake get these titles from the media mostly white like Queen of Pop or the New King of Pop as what Rolling Stones had the nerve to say about Justin when he came out with his first solo record. Black artist like Janet , Beyonce, and Usher don’t get that same respect when they are clearly more talented then any of the above artist i mention.

I saw the show twice over the weekend, it was amazing, she looked so young and was full of energy. This is the most amazing show, she’s singing live, dancing all night and not having any distractions and props, now that’s what you call talent, not many could do that today. Janet is the Queen, end of story.
