After much global ado, the coronation of King Charles III took place today (May 6), as he officially succeeded Queen Elizabeth II as the reigning monarch of the UK.

Taking place at Westminister Abbey, the event was attended by several notable guests, including Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, Edward Enniful,
Notably, Prince Harry was also in attendance, marking his first public appearance with the royal family since breaking his silence in a Netflix documentary with his wife Meghan Markle (who was absent) and his mega-selling memoir, ‘Spare.’
Today’s coronation ushers in a new chapter in history for the UK and also for the royal family, as Charles assumes the responsibilities of the monarchy after his mother’s 70-year reign.
