Pop Songs is good, but I’m with the others here who pointed out the real record is topping the Hot 100. For the August 6 chart, TGIF is at #2 on the Hot 100. With Perry at #1 on the Pop Songs chart, there’s a real chance that she might unseat LMFAO on the August 13 Hot 100. I hope she can do it.

She is making good music that’s not dance music. She isn’t make generic music about rude boys or dancing on table tops. I’m glad BEYonce released an R and B album and I’m glad Lady Gaga is releasing You and I as a single, not another generic dance pop song.
