Because, after losing her brother Blaize to cancer last year, the TV veteran has announced the death of her father.

Taking to Instagram, the star confirmed the passing of her father, Christopher B. Pearman.
Sharing a childhood picture of herself with her father (who also used to manage her), she wrote:
“My life has been long and abundant. And the path I’m on started with a dream. Hope he is watching with a smile on his face… 🕊️#christopherbpearman”
Our thoughts are with Raven and her family.

I feel badly for having lost a parent myself.
However, one wouldn’t have believed that she’d suffered a loss if one witnessed her carrying on on THE VIEW this morning.
I guess folks mourn in different ways.
