Shawn Mendes fans may have been bummed by the announcement he pushed back his anxiously awaited fifth studio album, the eponymous ‘Shawn,’ from its October 18 release date to November 15, but the 3x GRAMMY nominee is using the time to acquaint them with even more gems from its tracklist.
Following the critically acclaimed cuts ‘Why, Why, Why‘ and ‘Isn’t That Enough,’ Mendes has lifted the lid on new cut ‘Heart of Gold.’
“When we were young / We didn’t care / We shot for the stars / I’ll see you up there / You had a heart of gold,” he sings over Mike Sabath production.
Accompanying the tune’s November 1 arrival with an official music video directed by Connor Brashier and Anthony Wilson, hop inside to hear ‘Heart’ (which Mendes recently dedicated to late One Direction star Liam Payne).
Bet they had some good memories together. I respect that FWB type of relationship.
