Lil Nas X is making headlines again, but this time, it’s not for a chart-topping anthem. The GRAMMY-winning star was reportedly hospitalized after a chaotic early morning scene on Los Angeles’ Ventura Blvd.

According to TMZ, the ‘Old Town Road’ hitmaker was spotted around 4 AM wearing nothing but underwear and cowboy boots, bizarrely wandering in the middle of the street. Eyewitnesses say Lil Nas was pointing at passing cars, mumbling about going to a party, and even placed an orange traffic cone on his head.
Police were called after multiple reports of a nearly nude man in the road. When officers arrived, sources claim the rap star allegedly charged at them before being restrained and taken into custody. Paramedics suspected a possible overdose and took him to the hospital for treatment. Watch it below:
No charges have been confirmed yet, and reps for Lil Nas are yet to comment.

Justin’s first week sales for his 2021 album Justice was lower than his 2025 release Swag. Justice was proceeded by 5 singles and multiple music videos and traditional promotion, which probably cost the label millions. Swag was a surprise release with minimal traditional promo, yet everyone was tuned in because of his mental state and interactions with the paps and crazy online posts.
Crashing out is cheaper and gets you about the same amount of exposure as a traditional rollout, if not more.
Another reason may be his desire to be dropped by his label. He’s been leaking music left and right yet no second album.
And if this crashout is really real, I do feel bad for him. His sharp rise (very first single almost double diamond) and fall should be studied, for real.
