The duo reunited after nearly 16 years with ‘Let God Sort Em Out.’ The album earned five Grammy nominations and brought them their first win with ‘Chains & Whips,’ featuring Kendrick Lamar.
Pharrell remains involved in the new material. Pusha said he still wants the producer beside him. He has become increasingly selective about collaborators, preferring to work with those who understand his vision.
Pusha also confirmed that Malice may release a solo project:
“You might get one of those though, for sure.”
The duo have been productive since their reunion, finishing their tour and heading straight back to the studio.
Pharrell’s involvement ensures the new material stays connected to Clipse’s history without simply recreating the past.
