Tichina Arnold and Tommy Davidson bring the laughs and family chaos in the new movie ‘Search Party: Where’s PawPaw?’

Directed, co-written, and led by Victoria Monai Richards, the early 2000s-inspired comedy follows three best friends who find themselves at the center of a frantic mission to locate a missing grandfather.

Richards stars as college student Noble Williams, who races home after learning that her PawPaw’s health has suddenly worsened.

After arriving at his nursing home with her best friends and chaotic Aunt MeekMeek, played by Arnold, the group discovers that PawPaw has vanished. Armed with a collection of cryptic clues, they embark on an increasingly bizarre search to find him before time runs out.

Davidson takes on the role of the missing family patriarch, while Nijah Brenea and Daisy Fernandez round out the central ensemble.

The film serves as Richards’ feature directorial debut and was co-written with her mother, Sherrie Richards. It promises a vibrant blend of slapstick comedy, heart, and family-centered fun when it arrives in theaters on November 13.

The release adds to a busy period for its veteran stars. Arnold has joined the incoming ‘A Different World’ sequel, while Davidson recently reprised one of his most memorable roles in ‘The Varnell Hill Show.’
